MORE INFO ON THE SIX MEMBERS.

Andy 'Mr H'.

MR H

Andy started his singing career relatively late at 29 years old, (although was a choirboy until the tender age of 12) His love of music and singing has developed into an obsession and he can always be heard humming a tune even in his sleep. He was the lead singer of a rock covers band in Kent and fronted them for 4 years before moving back to the midlands and meeting up with the rest of these reprobates (just kidding) and has never looked back since. His gritty style and smooth talking gives the band an edge over many others, taking his main influences from many artists including Bryan Adams, Teddy Pendergrass,Garth Brooks and many of the Soul legends.Give him a song to sing in any style and he will just nail it time after time whether it be Abba through to ZZ Top.

Rob 'Mr Bobby Fingers'.

BOBBY FINGERS

Rob first started messing around with a musical instrument at the age of 3 when he would play his sister's electric (fan powered) Organ and his brothers Guitar. He also used to listen to the music on the "Oracle", TV info pages early in the morning (Ok...But he was only 3). At the age of 5, He was hooked on listening to The Top 40 on a Sunday. It was not until he was 12 in 1989 that he wanted an electronic keyboard for Christmas and then he had lessons until 1994.His own style started to develop and he started composing some of his own tunes. He works as a composer/sound engineer at a company in Nottingham, and in 2001 a friend told him how much it had cost to record a few tracks in a studio, He found that solo vocalists were having a hard time getting demo material recorded, at that moment the ideas for The Track Factory were laid down, and after 2 years of building all his ideas into reality, The Track Factory opened in July 2003.

Nij 'Mr Stix'.

MR STIXThe man who sits at the back behind his five piece kit and cymbals galore.Nij started bashing the skins when he got his first kit aged 5 and has been hooked ever since. His main influences are Motown, Blues, Funk, Rock n Roll, Disco actually it would of been easier to just put music as his influence. Ater working in the Disco/P. A. industry for over ten years, including working with artists such as Edwin Starr,Courtney Pine and Humphrey Lyttleton, he saw the future and playing drums was just that. Instead of playing Cd's he wanted to be part of making them and have the joy of playing live music. Nij also sings backing vocals in the band and has been known to take a funny turn on the karaoke now and again. Always the first to arrive at the gig and always the last to leave. Nij is your contact should you wish to book PRANG.

Lyndsay 'Ms L Boogie'.

MS LYNDS

Nottingham based vocalist Lyndsay is an office worker by day and a Disco Diva by night! She started singing at the age of 18 with recording artist Freddi Kofi's gospel choir where she developed her soulful sound. Since then Lyndsay has performed in various cover bands at venues ranging from local television to an RAF base. With music surrounding her at every opportunity – even in the shower! - she has many musical influences from hiphop to pop but it's 70s disco or 80s cheese that will always get her onto the dance floor. Her strong, sassy and soulful voice compliments Andy perfectly.

Jonathan 'Mr JJ'.

MR JJ

Jonathan started playing instruments with strings on at the age of six, settling after a while with the bass. He gradually realised that all he really wanted to do was musically orientated activities and after taking A level music moved on to study at Birmingham Conservatoire. The bassists that have influenced him most are James Jamerson, Bernard Edwards and Marcus Miller, but he has a very wide range of musical tastes that has come in very useful as he currently teaches music and music technology. He has played in a variety of bands – function, rock, jazz, funk (and panto pit band!) – and occasionally takes his double bass out too.
